A little planning can save a lot of money. Don’t pay gate prices for California theme park tickets. Whether you’re visiting Disneyland®, LEGOLAND®, Universal Studios Hollywood™, the San Diego Zoo, or any of the Southern California attractions, you can get discounted theme park tickets. Read on to learn how to get discounts on California theme parks and attractions.
1. Discounts on City Passes
If you plan on visiting multiple attractions in San Diego or Los Angeles, a city pass is a great way to save. You can choose between single-day or multi-day all-inclusive passes or build-your-own passes that allow you to customize and get discounts on your favorite attractions. City passes will save you up to 60% off gate prices as you visit all the attractions you want for one low price. City passes provide discounts on California theme parks and attractions in two major cities – San Diego and Los Angeles.
In San Diego you can create a combination of your favorite theme parks including SeaWorld® San Diego, LEGOLAND® California Resort, San Diego Zoo®, San Diego Zoo® Safari Park, Disneyland® Resort, and Universal Studios Hollywood™.
In Los Angeles you can buy a Go Los Angeles Card which provides free entry to 35+ Los Angeles attractions. You can also save up to 60% vs. buying tickets separately and can include LEGOLAND California®, Warner Bros. Studio Tour, Knott’s Berry Farm, and more.
2. Discounts on Disneyland Passes
Disneyland Resort is home to two theme parks: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. While it’s possible to see both theme parks in one day, you’ll be rushed. A minimum of two days will allow for a better experience.
One of the first things you need to decide when visiting Disneyland is – for how many days do you want to visit the parks? Once you’ve made this decision you will be better able to decide what type of tickets to buy. You can choose between single day tickets, multi day on park ticket, or the park hopper passes that allow you to enter both Disneyland Park and California Adventure on the same day.
Single day tickets are almost never discounted. For some tips on single day tickets see the mousesavers Discount Ticket information.
For the best deals on multi day passes see the undercovertourist discount site.
