1. Discounts with CityPASS
If you plan on visiting multiple attractions in San Diego or Los Angeles, a CityPASS is a great way to save. You can choose between single-day or multi-day all-inclusive passes or build-your-own passes that allow you to customize and get discounts on your favorite attractions. CityPASS will save you up to 43% off gate prices as you visit all the attractions you want for one low price. City passes provide discounts on California theme parks and attractions in two major cities – San Diego and Los Angeles.
In San Diego you can create a combination of your favorite theme parks including SeaWorld® San Diego, LEGOLAND® California Resort, San Diego Zoo®, Birch Aquarium and others. With the Southern California CityPASS you also can get access to Disneyland® Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood and others.
2. Discounts with Go City Pass
In Los Angeles you can also buy a Los Angeles Go City Pass which is a different pass which provides discounted entry to many Los Angeles attractions. The Go City Pass comes in two different versions. For those who want to see as much as possible, there is the All-Inclusive passes (1, 2, 3, 5, 7 day passes). Choose how many days you want your pass to be valid for, and then visits as many attractions as you wish. For those who are a little pickier, there is the Explorer Pass. With this pass, you can select how many attractions you wish to visit, and you’ll then have 60 days to do so. Plus, there’s no need to decide which ones you’ll visit before you purchase, so you’ll still be able to keep your plans flexible. You can save up to 60% vs. buying tickets separately and can include Universal Studios, LEGOLAND California®, Warner Bros. Studio Tour, Knott’s Berry Farm, and many more. There is also a San Diego Go Card.
3. Discounts on Disneyland Passes
Disneyland Resort is home to two theme parks: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. While it’s possible to see both theme parks in one day, you’ll be rushed. A minimum of two days will allow for a better experience.
One of the first things you need to decide when visiting Disneyland is – for how many days do you want to visit the parks? Once you’ve made this decision you will be better able to decide what type of tickets to buy. You can choose between single day tickets, multi day on park ticket, or the park hopper passes that allow you to enter both Disneyland Park and California Adventure on the same day.
Single day tickets are almost never discounted. For some tips on single day tickets see the mousesavers Discount Ticket information.
